    Purchased this hard case to protect my new Mac Book Pro, but so excited that the matte "purple" color (Aubergine) perfectly expresses my own personal style. Snaps on easily, and the grippy pads on the bottom help keep it from slipping around. Seems to have plenty of ventilation for my machine, which does tend to run pretty warm sometimes.

    Just one very minor element that I wish could be improved: With the case on, my screen sill only open to just over 45 degrees. A bit of a bummer when seated somewhere that the laptop needs to sit lower & I need to tilt the screen back a bit more for better visibility.

    Overall, very happy with this case, and highly recommend it.

    The elegant appearance and good functionality of this INCASE hardshell case for my 15" MacBook Pro is perfect. The feet on the bottom of the hardshell keep my MacBook Pro from not slipping off the table. I got the case in Aubergine (eggplant), thinking it stood out from a sea of black cases yet not shouting like the hot pink and bright blue seem to do. It looks great. It has a good feel to it (and it is NOT slippery). I can use the MacBook Pro at any angle and the plugs fit without any problem. The price at $49.95 at the Apple Store is a high price point. Since I use my MacBook Pro every day of the week, I decided to get the hardshell to protect it. Function first, elegant appearance second ... price was not an issue.
